Should Skeptical Inquiry Be Applied to Religion?

The article talks about how science and religion has been a heated controversy. For years this debate goes back to history historic between the advocates of reason and the disciples of faith. The article talks about how the skepticism" (1) emphasizes doubt and knowledge, and (2) focuses on inquiry and the genuine possibility of knowledge. Where does it come from and is it learned through family or environment? The most reliable hypotheses are because they are from inquirers and tests that confirm they can be repeated. Scientific hypotheses and theories are misguided and are unsure. There are some open question in the future discoveries.
